This picture still has 'Green's' on the fascia board but was owned by Munday's when this picture was taken. This picture 1926.

My Great grand parents, Arthur and Kate Munday, lived in a large two storey flat above the shop. My Uncle tells me that, during WWII, an incendiary bomb came crashing through the roof and landed in their lounge but that, luckily, it did not explode - thank goodness for that!
